The evolution of mobile networks from telephony-based circuit-switched services towards packet-based data connectivity introduced many challenges as well. While traditional telephony platforms offer ‘built-in’ guarantees on high voice quality (it is part of the system design), the packet-based (IP) platforms require careful planning, configuration, and tuning to provide acceptable quality. This course aims to give an overview of ZTE Radio network access equipment and the OSS platform. This course will focus on ZTE RAN equipment functionalities, hardware description, signaling flow, OSS platform, and routine operation on the OSS. |
