Telecom Excellence Academy (TExA) management held discussions on Ethio telecom 2012EFY performance, three years company strategy, 2013EFY business plan as well as on TExA annual performance and 2013EFY plan on August 5, 2020, at Addis Ababa Eyor Meeting Hall.

Welcoming the participants, Ato Ayele Adugna, TExA Chief Officer, expressed his delight that all community members of the academy stayed safe & healthy after COVID-19 working from home scheme.

Presenting the 2012EFY company performance, Ato Ayele, expressed his excitement that in the finalized budget year, coping with COVID-19 pandemic Ethio telecom has realized its aspiration of becoming a competitive, preferred & profitable company earning a total of 47.7 Billion ETB revenue, which is 105.1% of the target and 31.4% increment from the previous budget year. 

 Ato Ayele further presented the three years BRIDGE strategy which shows the transformation, growth, and hope of Ethio telecom, and then the companys 2013EFY Business Plan was presented.

Meanwhile, Mahelet Wendmu, Planning & Performance Assessment Director, has presented the 2012EFY performance of the academy. Accordingly, in the budget year, the academy has trained 12,285 (106% of its plan) in face-to-face and 5,952 (192% of its plan) in digital training methods, as well as blended training scheme has also been launched. Then, the academy 2013EFY plan was presented followed by discussions from the participants.

Finally, Ato Ayele has stressed that since the telecom market is going to be open for competition, all the academy community shall strive on building the capacity of Ethio telecom workforce, devising online and other strategies so as to protect our activities from impacts of COVID-19.
